About MedTech

Rambam MedTech is the technology transfer company for Rambam Medical Center (Health Care Campus), and serves as the industrial liaison to bring medical innovations to market.
Rambam MedTech Ltd. is the Technology Transfer Company of Rambam Health Care Campus. Rambam is the largest academic hospital in Northern Israel and one of Israel’s premiere hospitals, renowned for its world-class medicine, basic research, applied medical research, and innovations.
Tight medical research collaborations between Rambam and the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology contribute to product development.

Rambam MedTech Ltd. is authorized by the Israeli government to handle all innovations and intellectual properties (IP) generated by Rambam physicians and scientists. The company is aligned with the vision of Rambam to support the pioneering and innovative research of Rambam’s physicians and scientists, transforming novel ideas into world class medical products.

New ideas flourish and flow from the unmet medical needs that challenge multidisciplinary teams of physicians, scientists, and engineers. Cardiovascular devices; orthopedic, surgical, ophthalmic, and endoscopic tools; genetic breakthrough technologies; stem cell technologies; and precision personalized medicine are just a few examples of the areas of excellence within Rambam. A professional R&D team guides Rambam physicians from concept to commercialization of their inventions. The Rambam Research Authority has generated a system that promotes and encourages creative thinking, identifies innovative ideas, files patent applications, secures funding for initial development, and commercializes the IP through licensing to experienced business affiliates and formation of spin-off companies.
